Global SAP SD/O2C Solutions Architect

Job Summary:

As a Global SAP SD/O2C Solutions Architect at Thinking Minds, you will provide expert support for system and process issues related to the SAP Order-to-Cash (O2C) S/4 HANA module. Your role will involve troubleshooting, system customization, and creating functional specifications to implement business requirements within the SAP environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Third-Level Support:
    • Provide expert support for process owners and stakeholders, resolving issues related to the SAP O2C S/4 HANA module and associated systems.
    • Analyze root causes and implement solutions through system customization or by creating functional specifications.
  • System Optimization:
    • Collaborate with process owners to optimize and enhance the SAP O2C S/4 HANA module to meet the organization's requirements.
    • Customize and draft functional specifications for programming needs.
  • Technical Concept Development:
    • Create technical concepts and architectures to implement requirements in partnership with the business and the global SAP business application team.
  • Documentation:
    • Document current and proposed solutions, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all team members.
  • Change Management:
    • Participate in the change management team, aiding in the analysis, decision-making, and implementation of updates and change requests.
  • Project Participation:
    • Actively engage in project teams to contribute to the successful delivery of SAP projects.
  • Continuous Learning:
    • Stay updated on the latest developments in the SAP landscape, particularly regarding the assigned module and relevant business lines.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a solution architect for the SAP SD module or the Order-to-Cash line of business, with demonstrated expertise in both system customization and consulting.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Familiarity with standard development processes, including modern methodologies beyond SAP.
    • Proficiency in locating technical issues, including the use of debugging tools for troubleshooting.
  • Global Experience:
    • Proven experience working in a global company, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken).
    • Ability to communicate effectively with non-native speakers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Attention to Detail:
    • Meticulous approach to work, with a strong emphasis on clear communication and documentation.
  • Solution Orientation:
    • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to understand the big picture and plan accordingly.
  • Teamwork:
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a global, distributed team, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
  • Travel Requirements:
    • Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time to support global initiatives.
