**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Director of Digital Solutions Engineering to lead our global team in architecting, designing, and deploying software solutions that redefine efficiency and precision.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Lead Global Teams**: Direct multiple global teams of the Digital Solutions Engineering organization to architect, design, implement, test, and deploy BlueCrest's software solutions.
  • **Project Management**: Oversee and coordinate project schedules, ensure solutions meet all requirements and are delivered within specified timeframes and budget allocations.
  • **Client Collaboration**: Partner with product management and meet with clients as needed to gather and define product requirements.
  • **Innovation**: Drive innovation through identification and adoption of new tools, processes, and best practices.
  • **Team Development**: Motivate, coach, and develop your people to achieve their peak potential.

**Key Relationships**

The role will be responsible for collaborating across all business functions, including:

  • Development Engineering
  • Product Management
  • Professional Services
  • Clients and External Partners

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Requirements**

  • BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience leading new product development teams.
  • 10+ years of experience with object-oriented software design & development over the full lifecycle process.
  • Proven track record of leading diverse teams on high-profile projects to success against critical deadlines.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • Motivated leader able to identify solutions to challenging problems in line with deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work closely with senior management and interface with our clients.
  • Experience leading teams using Agile development methodologies.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Experience developing machine control software on complex custom systems.
  • Experience developing SaaS products following the Well-Architected Framework.
  • Knowledge of information security best practices and experience designing applications following a Secure Development Lifecycle.
