Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team in Danbury, CT. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the architecture of complex systems, subsystems, and assemblies in the development of high technology products for the US Navy and some commercial use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and apply customer and military specifications to ensure product and project compliance
  • Develop and manage requirements using IBM Rational DOORS, including the use of DXL scripts, to support the configuration control of customer (master) and supplier (elaboration) requirement modules
  • Generate design reports for formal customer submittals of requirements modules
  • Communicate clearly with all areas of engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, program management, and the customer as required
  • Support current Cameo based Model Based Systems Engineering efforts with the goal of being a local site lead developer
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field with 4+ years of engineering experience; DoD experience highly preferred
  • Fluency using IBM Rational DOORS for requirements management, with some DXL scripting usage
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to aid interactions within Engineering, other internal departments, and external customers
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, and able to effectively multi-task and handle changing work assignments, schedules, and priorities
  • Fluency with Model Based System Engineering, preferably with Cameo Systems Modeler
