Patient Demographics:
Our patient population varies from young adults to seniors, with the majority being around 65 years of age. Common procedures include partial nephrectomy, radical nephrectomy, radical prostatectomy, urolithiasis, and cystectomy with urinary diversion.
Role of the Registered Nurse:
As a Registered Nurse (RN), your responsibilities will encompass:
- Delivering direct nursing care in alignment with established protocols.
- Implementing and overseeing patient care plans.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assessing and coordinating discharge plans for patients.
- Monitoring and documenting patient conditions effectively.
