About the Role

Cleveland Clinic's G90 Urology/Medical-Surgical Telemetry Unit is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to post-operative urology and overflow surgical patients. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, administering medication and treatments, assessing and coordinating patients' discharge plans, and monitoring, recording and communicating patients' conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with urological conditions.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Monitor and record patients' conditions, communicating any changes to the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Two years of recent nursing experience (external applicants).
  • Successfully pass all prescreen competency assessments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Physical Requirements
  • Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients.
  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
  • Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
  • Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
