Cleveland Clinic's G90 Urology/Medical-Surgical Telemetry Unit is dedicated to providing exceptional care to post-operative urology and overflow surgical patients. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a vital role in implementing and monitoring patient care plans, administering medication and treatments, and assessing and coordinating patients' discharge plans.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients
- Implement and monitor patient care plans
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed
- Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs
- Monitor, record, and communicate patients' conditions
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Two years of recent nursing experience (or military RN experience)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
This role requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. You will also need to stand and walk for extended periods and work under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
Medium Work – Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Personal Protective EquipmentFollows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
