The SVP of Manufacturing Operations will be instrumental in expanding production capabilities, promoting innovation, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and company protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
Formulate and implement the manufacturing strategy in alignment with the organization's overarching business goals.
Lead initiatives for continuous improvement to boost productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Oversee long-term capacity planning and infrastructure investments to facilitate future expansion.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure objectives are achieved or surpassed.
Guarantee compliance of all manufacturing processes with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality benchmarks.
Conduct regular evaluations of operational efficiency and effectiveness, providing recommendations for enhancements as necessary.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uncover opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices.
Deliver regular updates and presentations to the executive leadership on operational performance and strategic initiatives.
Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability throughout the manufacturing division.
Build, lead, and nurture a high-performing manufacturing team.
Develop talent within the organization through mentorship, training, and succession planning.

Required Qualifications:
15+ years of relevant experience in operations, quality assurance, and/or process enhancement roles, preferably within the aerospace and defense sector.

Demonstrated success in operations management or a comparable position, with a proven track record in process optimization and results delivery.

Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other methodologies for process improvement.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across all organizational levels.
Experience in leading by influence and successfully managing various change initiatives within an organization.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and Job Aids to enhance workflow and compliance.
Knowledge of microelectronics manufacturing and Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes.
Industry experience with embedded systems, secure computing technologies, modular open systems approach (MOSA), and military standards.
Goal-oriented with demonstrated experience in prioritizing tasks according to business objectives while managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Successful management of cross-functional teams to conduct process analysis, improvement, and implementation across a multi-site framework.

Effective communication skills (both written and verbal); capable of crafting compelling narratives and value propositions, developing presentations, and presenting to various stakeholders, from frontline employees to executive levels.
