Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Reading Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating curriculum programming, providing small group and one-on-one conferencing, and supporting the development of other teachers. Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate literacy program development and implementation
  • Provide small group and one-on-one conferencing to students with disabilities, English language learners, and struggling learners
  • Support the development of other teachers through coaching and mentoring
  • Collaborate with the Director of Instruction to ensure alignment with the school's mission and goals
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in education or related field
  • Proven track record of creating high levels of academic growth in populations of students with significant potential and limited experience of prior academic success
  • Experience working with students with disabilities, English language learners, and struggling learners
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
