The Department of Children and Families (DCF) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Services Professional to join their team.

The ideal candidate will provide essential services to help children in need, including those who are homeless, in foster care, abused, or neglected.

As a Social Services Professional, you will interact with children and family members to assess their needs and determine the best course of action to improve their environment.

The Department of Children and Families is committed to upholding the fundamental mission of protecting children from abuse and neglect, ensuring they can grow and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, or a relevant human services field, and a current and valid license as a Licensed Social Work Associate, Licensed Social Worker, or a similar designation.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and updating strength-based service plans for each child in care or custody, conducting initial and ongoing case management, and completing all documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements.
