Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Manager to join our team. As a Food Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation, scheduling, and quality assurance of food and supplies across our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Scheduling: Prepare production/service and preparation/inventory documents before each meal.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee additional records such as service plan, tray assessments, restricted diets, daily sanitation, and meal delivery.
  • Training and Development: Carry out the orientation and training program for inmate workers.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure safety compliance and monitor equipment maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. College credits or technical training courses are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience: One (1) year prior experience in successfully managing and/or quantity food production experience in commercial, military, or institutional setting will be helpful.
  • Skills: Ability to communicate to all personnel the minimum production/service requirements of the job. Must possess a valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently: Lift or carry and push/pull up to 60 lbs.; sit.
  • Occasionally: Lift, carry, push/pull up to 60 lbs. (sometimes more); bend, stoop, reach above shoulder level, climb, walk and stand.
Compensation

Pay: USD $21.20/Hr.
