About the Role

Therapy 2000, a leading provider of pediatric healthcare services, is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a key member of our after school caseload, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations to determine patients' needs for therapy.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders.
  • Collaborate with patients' caregivers to develop home exercise programs.
  • Act as a vital member of patients' medical teams, coordinating care with various providers and disciplines.
  • Complete a minimum of 6-8 patient visits per week, with a focus on after school hours (3:30-6:30pm).
  • Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, and other paperwork as needed.
  • Participate in regular meetings with agency personnel to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • A current and active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
  • Availability to support a caseload of 6-8, thirty-minute visits per week from 3:30-6:30pm (after school hours).
  • An innovative spirit and a demonstrated history of reliability.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and needs of the business.
  • Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Experience in a home healthcare setting.
  • Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, etc.).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
