Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Afterschool Caseload Specialist

Therapy 2000, a leading provider of home-based pediatric therapy services, is seeking a skilled Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a vital member of our North Houston division, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families in Splendora, Porter, and Cleveland.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations to determine patients' needs for therapy.
- Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders, using your clinical judgment and expertise.
- Collaborate with patients' caregivers to develop home exercise programs and ensure seamless care coordination.
- Act as a vital member of patients' medical neighborhoods, working closely with various providers and disciplines to deliver high-quality care.
- Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and other paperwork as needed.
- A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
- Availability to support a caseload of 6-8, thirty-minute visits/weekly from 3:30-6:30pm (afterschool).
- An innovative spirit, complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability and flexibility.
- Ability to use common workplace technology, including laptop computers, phones, email, and web browsers.
- 3+ years of experience as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience in a home-health setting.
- Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties, such as VitalStim.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills.
- Consolidated caseload.
