Data Center Operations Engineer

Job Summary:
General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Engineer to support our customer activities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data center operations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in on-call rotation and disaster recovery exercises to ensure business continuity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data center operations, network engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and networking protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
