Key Responsibilities
  • Confirm passenger information and flight status using electronic tablets.
  • Offer and serve refreshments to passengers, maintaining a clean and welcoming lounge environment.
  • Manage inventory orders and ensure the lounge is stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Record guest preferences and introduce them to relevant departments for follow-up.
  • Direct or escort guests to their aircraft or ground transportation, providing assistance with luggage.
  • Respond promptly and tactfully to guest requests or complaints.
  • Report any irregularities or discrepancies to the departmental Slack channel and senior management.
  • Act as an ambassador of the Blade brand, providing guests with reservation updates, pertinent information, and recommendations for ground transport.
  • Organize and maintain the front desk/counter, ensuring all materials and supplies are readily available.
  • Familiarize yourself with all Blade services to address, assist, and upsell to guests.
  • Maintain excellent relationships within the Flier Experience Department and familiarize yourself with the operations and priorities of other departments.
  • Prioritize safety in all aspects of your work and report incidents to senior management.
Requirements
  • Two years' experience at a front desk in a hotel, restaurant, spa/fitness center preferred.
  • Prior experience in a luxury environment is a significant advantage.
  • Must be over 18 years old, able to commute via mass transit or have your own transportation, and hold a valid driver's license.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The Airport Flier Experience Associate will work in a fast-paced environment, frequently exposed to bright sunlight and night conditions. The role requires the ability to reach, crouch, kneel, see, hear, stand, and walk for extended periods. Regularly working in adverse weather conditions, the associate must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance.
