Job Title: NPI Engineer

Intervala, LLC is seeking a highly skilled NPI Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary

The NPI Engineer will be responsible for managing new product introductions, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products to market. This role will involve coordinating activities with multiple departments, evaluating product documentation, and interfacing with customers and project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project activities with multiple departments to ensure successful new product introductions.
  • Evaluate product documentation to ensure required information is available for manufacturing.
  • Interface with customers and project teams to resolve issues and ensure quality, design, and process requirements are met.
  • Coordinate Design for Manufacturability and Design for Test (DFM/DFT) activities.
  • Work with Test and Design Engineers on various projects.
  • Develop and manage internal change requests to modify or develop documentation.
  • Manage multiple projects using a controlled phase gate process.
  • Develop intelligent solutions to issues and problems, and recommend resolutions to internal teams and customers.
  • Complete customer feedback reports and initiate change requests to correct and improve manufacturability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant job experience.
  • Previous project management experience.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of SMT, selective soldering, and wave soldering operations.
  • Knowledge of machine shop operations.
  • Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledgeable of ERP systems, preferably Syteline.
  • Intermediate knowledge and use of applicable workmanship or other acceptability standards.
  • Intermediate ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings, production drawings, wiring drawings, and electronic schematic diagrams.
  • Intermediate level in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
