Project Engineer Opportunity

Hoyle Tanner and Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Northeast Municipal Engineering Services Group (NEME). This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of civil engineering design professionals who are dedicated to delivering creative, cost-effective, and quality solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the delivery of infrastructure and civil engineering projects, including site design, grading, stormwater management, and treatment design.
  • Prepare calculations, layouts, modeling, estimates, drawings, and specifications under the direction of senior engineers and project managers.
  • Lead and guide junior engineers and CADD teammates.
  • Work collaboratively with an integrated, multi-discipline team to solve technical challenges.
  • Develop designs and organize work using software and other tools.
  • Gather, research, and maintain engineering data records, including tests, drawings, and field data.
  • Attend site visits and meetings with clients and contractors.
  • May be responsible for construction observation and limited administration.
Requirements:
  • BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 4-9 years of experience in project engineering, with a strong background in plan production, specification writing, and engineering analysis.
  • PE licensure in one or more of the following: NH, VT, with ability to obtain reciprocal licenses in other New England states.
