Job Title: Airport Project Manager

Hoyle Tanner and Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Airport Project Manager to join our Aviation Services Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing airport improvement projects across the East Coast, working closely with Airport Managers and Directors, and their staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage resources to complete projects in accordance with the contract, scope of services, budget, and schedule.
  • Train and mentor project engineers and junior staff.
  • Work within an established quality control program and have access to our project manager manual and recurring project management training.
  • Lead and assemble a qualified project team to successfully complete a project or client deliverables on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and manage resources to complete projects in accordance with the contract, scope of services, budget, and schedule.
  • Promptly invoice for services rendered and advocate for outstanding accounts receivable.
  • Monitor product quality and ensure a quality management plan is developed with roles defined accordingly.
  • Keep Principal-in-charge informed of potential claims or contract risks as they arise and collaborate on resolution strategies as needed.
Requirements:
  • BSCE
  • PE in MA, NH, ME, FL, RI, or CT, or the ability to obtain reciprocity
  • 10+ years of increasing technical or planning and leadership experience to include 4-6 years' experience in other Civil Engineering Discipline plus 4-6 years airport design experience
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, an acute understanding of project finances, scheduling, and client management skills
  • PM Training
