Senior Financial Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, conduct comprehensive financial analyses, and execute all accounting tasks necessary to adhere to GAAP standards.

Summarizing Monthly Financials, Actual and Forecast Reports for Senior Management.
  • Gathering KPI metrics from subsidiary companies and summarizing current month performance
  • Reviewing data from each business unit to finalize and formulate current month actuals
  • Creating reports for senior management based on quarterly forecasts.
  • Distributing financial reports to senior management.
  • Reconciling monthly financial statements and providing audits as required.
  • Conducting audits on payables and receivables.
Preparing Consolidated Reports for Parent Company
  • Compiling reports for the parent company using monthly financial data.
  • Developing quarterly databases for management review.
Establishing Monthly Closing Schedule
  • Coordinating with the parent company regarding global closing timelines.
  • Organizing the closing schedule and disseminating updates.
Generating Business Plan Reports and Year-End Evaluation Reports
  • Reviewing business plan policies and announcing schedules while consolidating data
  • Preparing materials for business plan review meetings and summarizing findings.
  • Analyzing performance across business units and compiling relevant data.
  • Summarizing year-end evaluation reports in collaboration with HR for bonus assessments.
Qualifications:

Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field with 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, or equivalent. Strong analytical skills to conduct research and develop advanced methods for compiling financial reports. Experience in training junior accounting staff.
Communication Skills
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with all levels within the accounting department and present to small groups.
