As a key member of the finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst will report directly to the CFO and oversee critical financial planning initiatives. This includes managing financial and operational reporting, developing budgets, forecasting future performance, and engaging in long-term strategic planning.

Compensation:
Competitive salary range of $155,000 - $165,000, plus performance-based bonuses, commensurate with education and experience.
This role offers a hybrid work schedule (onsite Tuesday – Thursday).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the accurate forecasting and reporting of financial outcomes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Deliver insightful analysis of current and projected results and their implications for the business.
  2. Manage the financial reporting process, including presentations and Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) for all external stakeholders.
  3. Collaborate with various departments to provide essential financial reporting, analytical support, and performance assessments, recommending actions that enhance efficiency and profitability.
  4. Develop annual operating and capital budgets for all departments, aligning with strategic goals, workforce planning, business initiatives, cash flow management, expenses, and productivity improvements.
  5. Conduct comprehensive variance analysis, comparing performance against budgets/forecasts, identifying gaps, trends, and opportunities, and providing actionable recommendations for adjustments as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; an MBA is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, demonstrating increasing responsibility.
  • Familiarity with Corporate Performance Management systems such as Adaptive Insights, Hyperion, Planful, Anaplan, or Netsuite, with a strong aptitude for learning new systems and reporting tools.
  • Experience in investment banking or private equity sectors is advantageous.
