About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to join our team at WSP. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the Resident Engineer with daily activities, including writing change orders, pay estimates, and running weekly meetings. You will also assist the Resident Engineer in making field construction decisions and maintain construction documentation.

Your Impact:

You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful completion of projects, working closely with the PMCM Team to meet client objectives and solve challenges. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Resident Engineer with daily activities
  • Assisting with field construction decisions
  • Maintaining construction documentation
  • Documenting construction activities
  • Tracking materials and contractors

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience
  • Fundamental knowledge of codes, standards, and materials
  • Ability to work individually on a construction site
  • Effective oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with experience in local municipalities and/or local DOT, as well as a background in construction management, architecture, or engineering fields. Familiarity with e-Builder and roadway, highway, or bridge construction inspection experience are also desirable.

WSP offers a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings. We also offer a competitive salary range of $78,500-$107,910.
