About the Role

We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our New England Transportation group in Maine. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing multimodal connections and designing transportation infrastructure that is adaptive and resilient to climate change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize Microstation/InRoads design software to support the design development process.
  • Prepare design calculations and quantity take-offs for construction cost estimates.
  • Perform project research and analyze/present data in tabular or graphic format.
  • Contribute to engineering reports and technical studies.
  • Conduct field visits during the design development process.
  • Attend client, agency, and public meetings to gain insight into project phases.
  • Receive training and mentorship to enhance your skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • EIT certification required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with a computer-aided design and drafting tool.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Pro-active attitude, attention to detail, desire to learn, punctual, and organized.
  • Ability to work independently when required.
  • Basic understanding of general concepts of relevant areas of civil design.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic understanding of MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
