Job Title: Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional

Project Redirect is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional to join our team. As a key member of our Residential Program, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
  • Supervise and train Direct Service Professionals to provide high-quality care and support.
  • Collaborate with representatives from DDS to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage daily operations, including scheduling, payroll, and staff development.
  • Conduct facility tours and develop new strategies to attract individuals with disabilities.
  • Prepare and evaluate employee performance, make recommendations, and assign staff duties.
  • Monitor and document resident progress, including data collection and periodic progress reports.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, residents, families, and other agencies.
  • Manage health and safety protocols, including emergency response and medical assistance.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with federal and state regulations, including Medicaid Waiver.
  • Provide on-site review and oversight of the facility, including maintenance and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage finances, including overtime, residential and household accounts, and grocery shopping.
  • Attend meetings and in-service training as scheduled and conduct in-service training as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field.
  • Two years of verifiable experience directly related to the care of individuals with disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
  • Cleared and approved criminal record check.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
