About the Role

This role is part of our operations team and requires a leader who can support a supervisor overseeing lab technicians. As a Group Lead, you will be responsible for training and resolving issues, contributing to interviewing candidates and providing feedback. Your role may evolve over time as we continue to improve our processes.

Responsibilities
  • Support the supervisor in managing lab technicians and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Train group members to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their tasks effectively.
  • Contribute to the interview process and provide feedback on candidate performance.
  • Support performance management and contribute to achieving company goals.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of experience in production or distribution, preferably in an optical lab setting.
  • Leadership experience, including helping teams stay on track and resolving issues.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, mechanical aptitude, strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to learn new skills quickly and follow instructions.
