About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Team Leader to join our Emergency Department team at Baylor Scott & White Health.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum

Job Description

As a Medical Team Leader, you will be responsible for shaping a positive team environment, ensuring high-quality nursing practices, teamwork, and patient safety. You will create plans, implement policies, manage resources, oversee finances, and manage quality improvement efforts.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and communicate a clear vision for nursing practices within your area of responsibility.
  • Involving supervisory and other staff in setting and accomplishing departmental goals.
  • Continually updating your knowledge base with the latest evidence-backed clinical and leadership practices.
  • Fostering a healing and supportive environment for patients, families, and fellow staff members.
  • Recognizing development needs and facilitating educational opportunities for staff members.
  • Setting a positive example of professionalism within the nursing field and work atmosphere.
