Position Overview

As a Senior Accountant reporting directly to the Director of Finance or CFO, you will be tasked with executing accounting responsibilities in accordance with established financial standards. Your role will encompass managing general ledger operations, internal controls, financial assessments, and the preparation of financial statements, among other essential functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document monthly procedures, record outcomes in the general ledger, analyze margins for products and services by sales order, and clarify any discrepancies.
  • Prepare monthly accruals and general ledger entries for balance sheets and profit & loss accounts, including sales accruals and commissions.
  • Participate in treasury operations such as vendor payments and fund transfers across accounts.
  • Assist in generating precise monthly financial reports for The Panaro Group LLC's leadership, investors, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with auditors during annual audits.
  • Contribute to the formulation and upkeep of accounting policies.
  • Provide insights through variance analysis and value creation reports.
  • Drive process improvements while maintaining robust controls and leveraging automation strategies where applicable.
  • Support senior management in assessing potential acquisitions and leading financial integration after acquisitions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong grasp of financial functions.
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
  • CPA certification is advantageous.
  • An MBA qualification is beneficial.
  • Expertise in financial systems and analytics is essential.
  • Experience with Oracle, NetSuite, and similar platforms is preferred.
  • A background in private equity, mergers & acquisitions, and integration is a plus.
