POSITION OVERVIEW

As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences to our guests. Your role is vital in ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering repeat visits. This position entails managing pour costs, overseeing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, handling cash transactions, and providing outstanding customer service, particularly in alcohol service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Exhibit outstanding guest service through prompt, efficient, and friendly interactions.
  2. Welcome and acknowledge guests as they enter the dining area or are seated.
  3. Accurately take drink orders, input them into the POS system, and manage payment transactions effectively.
  4. Prepare and deliver food and drink orders promptly to guests.
  5. Provide attentive service throughout the dining experience, including beverage and condiment refills.
  6. Demonstrate the ability to mix ingredients and craft cocktails as requested.
  7. Ensure responsible serving of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established guidelines.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized service station at all times.
  9. Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly and in accordance with regulations.
  10. Keep the dining area tidy by promptly clearing dishes, wiping surfaces, and resetting tables.
  11. Report any health or safety concerns to the Supervisor immediately.
  12. Communicate operational issues, including recipe needs and inventory levels, to the Supervisor.
  13. Maintain daily records of pour costs, inventory, and cleanliness of the workspace.
  14. Stock supplies including beer, wine, liquor, ice, mixers, and dry goods.
  15. Wash and organize glassware and utensils.
  16. Adhere to company policies, legal regulations, and departmental procedures.
  17. Foster a collaborative environment by treating co-workers with respect and courtesy.
  18. Perform additional duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  1. At least six months of experience in food or alcohol service.
  2. Strong communication skills with good auditory acuity.
  3. Interpersonal skills that promote positive guest interactions.
  4. Physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and occasionally maneuver up to 50 lbs.
  5. Professional demeanor and a positive attitude towards guests and colleagues.
  6. Must obtain a food handler's certificate and an OLCC certificate within 30 days of employment.
  7. Background check required.
  8. Must be at least 21 years of age.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Experience in cocktail serving or bartending within the last two years.
