Job Title: Golf Sales Coordinator

Wildhorse Resort and Casino is seeking a highly motivated and organized Golf Sales Coordinator to join our team. As a Golf Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for selling, securing, and coordinating Golf Group contracts, including event space, meeting rooms, hotel rooms, catering, and other amenities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as primary customer contact to coordinate golf events from contract development to event execution.
  • Ensure contracts are signed and secure agreement on event details and pricing.
  • Prepare and manage billing.
  • Provide familiarization tours of the property to meeting planners and interested groups.
  • Keep current on all aspects of the resort, including food and beverage options, golf course activity, pro-shop merchandise, and sales packages.
  • Track sales leads, follow up on inquiries, and work with existing groups to secure repeat bookings.
  • Set up client accounts in appropriate software, including room blocks, golf packages, tee times, meeting space, and detailed billing information for hotel rooms, facility rental, and additional items purchased by the group.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
  • Attend trade shows on behalf of Wildhorse Resort and Casino.
  • Provide signage as needed by golf groups and help to secure course advertising as needed.
  • Communicate and coordinate clients' needs effectively with appropriate departments regarding Golf, supplies, services, lodging, catering, security, and/or transportation.
  • Confirm that all arrangements are secured before the arrival date.
  • Participate in training that will increase skills, efficiency, and performance.
  • Comply with regulatory laws, PP&P, department policies and procedures, safety codes, etc.
  • Promote a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests.
  • Promptly report all concerns to the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Two (2) years of front-line customer service experience in hotel, hospitality, or sales.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of golf and the golf industry.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in word processing and various computer software.
  • Strong organizational, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Must be willing to travel, have reliable transportation, and be insurable under WRC insurance requirements.
  • Professional appearance and personal hygiene habits.
  • Effective communication skills – verbally able to provide instruction, respond to questions, and have exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
  • Physically able to work/sit for long periods at a work computer station and perform repetitive motion of arms, wrists, and fingers; and at times, move throughout a smoke-filled environment.
  • Requires a High-Security Gaming License clearance.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Three (3) years of administrative experience.
  • Three (3) years of Golf Industry sales experience.
  • Experience in hotel and/or sales management systems.
