Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Traditions Server to join our team at Wildhorse Resort and Casino. As a Traditions Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly service to guests.
  • Greet and acknowledge guests entering the restaurant and/or seated in the assigned service area.
  • Offer beverage service and other amenities to guests.
  • Provide attentive service throughout guests' meals, refilling beverages and condiments as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and employees.
  • Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
  • Verify check-in and cash register reconciliation, and prepare shift-end check-out and cash register reconciliation.
  • Promote a positive attitude and willingness to be a part of the team, assisting others as needed.
  • Keep shift manager and lead apprised of any customer concerns or positive remarks.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
Requirements
  • Six (6) months of food service and customer service experience.
  • Three (3) months of cash handling experience.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods in a smoky environment.
  • Effective communication skills, including verbal and written communication.
  • Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
  • Must possess or obtain a Food Handler's certificate AND an OLCC service permit within 30 days of employment.
  • Requires a High-Security Gaming license clearance.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
