Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Plateau. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure prompt, efficient, and friendly service to our guests, placing their interests first.
  2. Beverage Service: Offer beverage service and other amenities necessary by guests.
  3. Food Orders: Take customers' food orders and promptly relay them through the POS system.
  4. Order Delivery: Deliver food orders and condiments to guests in a timely manner.
  5. Guest Attentiveness: Remain attentive to guests during their meal, ensuring satisfaction with beverage refills, condiments, and other needs.
  6. Area Maintenance: Maintain assigned areas in an organized, efficient, and clean manner at all times.
  7. Regulatory Compliance: Comply with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
  8. Equipment Safety: Ensure the safe operation of equipment, tools, and materials.
  9. Internal Guest Service Standards: Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
  10. Check-Out Procedures: Verify check-in and cash reconciliation, prepare shift-end check-out cash reconciliation, and present checks to guests.
  11. Menu Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with the menu, offer suggestions, and wine pairings.
  12. Property Amenities: Remain knowledgeable of all property amenities to ensure a high level of customer service.
  13. Exceptional Dining Experience: Create an exceptional dining experience for all guests.
Requirements
  1. Previous Experience: One (1) year of previous table service experience, preferably in fine dining.
  2. Certifications: Possess or obtain a Food Handler Certification and an OLCC card within 30 days of employment.
  3. Physical Demands: Physically fit, able to stand and/or walk for long periods, perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers, and lift and maneuver 50lbs.
  4. Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, verbally able to provide instructions, respond to questions, and have exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
  5. Professional Demeanor: Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
  6. Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and count back change.
  7. Wine Knowledge: Possesses working knowledge of wines, beer, and liquor.
  8. Security License: Requires High-Security Gaming License.
  9. Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
