The State of Ohio is seeking an experienced Administrative Professional 4 to provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to the Office of Employee and Business Services (OEBS). This hybrid position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment, providing continuous, accurate, and timely administrative services to the program areas within the department.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is between $53,581 and $66,373 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The current hourly rate is $25.76-$31.91, with cost-of-living adjustments increasing wages each fiscal year.

About the Job: As an Administrative Professional 4, you will be responsible for providing secretarial and non-routine administrative support, operating personal computers using applicable software applications, utilizing databases to prepare documents and reports, and preparing correspondence, proofreading, and editing documents. You will also review I-9s for accuracy and file them appropriately, work with support staff as a forms coordinator to review and update ODJFS forms, assist Human Capital Management and administrative staff on special assignments, maintain human resources records, and assist in onboarding new employees.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must have excellent problem-solving skills, communication skills, both verbal and writing, good interpersonal skills, and excellent organizational skills. You should also have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe, as well as knowledge of records management. Additionally, you should be able to multi-task, work independently, and as a team.
