Position Overview:

The Industrial Cleaner plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the refinery environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute cleaning operations independently or collaboratively within a team to ensure all areas of the refinery are maintained to high standards.
  • Adhere to all safety, food safety, environmental, and personnel policies established by ASR Group.
  • Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety and quality protocols.
  • Carry out assigned maintenance and sanitation tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, shoveling, and restocking supplies as necessary.
  • Integrate special or rotational cleaning duties into daily schedules, which may not occur on a daily basis.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Capable of using hands and arms for reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and manipulating materials and tools.
  • Willingness to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and perform tasks independently as well as part of a team.
  • Comfortable climbing ladders as required.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to perform tasks while wearing required PPE, including protective clothing, safety glasses, and steel-toed shoes.
  • Must be capable of climbing, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
