Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute the cleaning of equipment and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our employees and customers.
  • Manage both cleaning contractors and cleaning employees at the facility, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Inspect premises for unsanitary practices and conditions, compiling required reports and implementing corrective actions to resolve deficiencies.
  • Develop and manage a sanitation preventive maintenance program to ensure that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained.
  • Review and oversee the Plant Sanitation Program, including working with suppliers to determine best cleaning and sanitizing agents and methods for maintaining company and regulatory standards.
  • Complete associated documentation in a complete, accurate, and timely manner, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conduct investigations and root cause analysis on any customer complaints and quality issues pertaining to potential sanitation issues.
  • Collaborate with management, Quality Assurance, Safety, and production personnel to identify and implement improvements to sanitation standards and product purity.
  • Ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are always met, and that all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Able to be trusted with sensitive and confidential information, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to train, coach, and motivate employees to achieve high levels of performance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and software programs used in the workplace, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diverse range of individuals at all organizational levels, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and quality.
  • Two to four years of related experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry, with a proven track record of accomplishments in supervision and team leadership.
  • Five or more years of experience in a supervisory role, with a strong background in training, coaching, and team building.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.

Compensation
  • Pay range: $102,500 to $190,500, depending on qualifications and prior experience.
