As an Arcade Technician with Laser Tag Equipment Oversight, you will be integral in maintaining and enhancing the gaming and laser tag experiences for our patrons. Your responsibilities will encompass the repair, upkeep, and troubleshooting of arcade machines, laser tag apparatus, and related systems to ensure they are consistently in top-notch working order.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair arcade machines and equipment, including coin-operated devices, video games, pinball machines, air hockey tables, and redemption games.
  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure arcade machines operate smoothly.
  • Monitor game performance, identify issues, and implement timely solutions.
  • Maintain an inventory of spare parts and procure replacements as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to guarantee a seamless experience for guests in both the arcade and laser tag areas.
  • Oversee the maintenance of laser tag equipment and arenas, ensuring they are functional, clean, and safe.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service when assisting guests with inquiries or issues related to games.
  • Manage laser tag game operations, including briefing participants and ensuring equipment functions properly during gameplay.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in arcade game and laser tag equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Strong technical and mechanical skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Availability for flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, including game components and equipment.
  • Comfortable standing, walking, and performing physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach to access and repair gaming equipment.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for intricate repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
