Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and cooking equipment.
- Conduct inspections of equipment to guarantee safe and effective operation.
- Maintain clear communication with customers and branch staff regarding repair status and scheduling.
- Complete service tickets accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
- Manage truck stock to ensure necessary parts are readily available.
- Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to company standards.
- Serve as a mentor to less experienced technicians, promoting a positive work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in the field.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Dependable and capable of working independently.
- Proficient in standard computer applications.
- Possess industry-standard hand tools.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
- Availability for on-call duties, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Mechanically inclined with a desire to learn new skills.
- Prior experience as a commercial HVAC or refrigeration technician is required.
- Universal EPA certification is highly preferred.
