  • Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Maintain the condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work area, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations, taking necessary precautions to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Complete all reports and forms required for work assignments, providing accurate and detailed information.
  • Account for all time on a time card and for all material used in performing assigned duties, maintaining transparency and accountability.
  • Be willing to commute to on-site locations to fulfill customer-owned equipment servicing needs, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience performing service repairs and engine repair, with a proven track record of success.
  • Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment, following technical manual procedures.
  • Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of heavy equipment, with a strong understanding of technical concepts.
  • Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes, with a valid driver's license.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly, with a strong physical presence.
  • Basic Service Technician certification preferred, with a strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required, with an Associate's degree preferred.
