Compensation: Starting at $16.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Responding to and documenting incoming calls efficiently.
  • Thriving in a high-volume call center atmosphere.
  • Coordinating and confirming patient appointments while providing necessary preparation instructions.
  • Quickly grasping new concepts and information.
  • Ensuring accurate coding and eligibility verification for patient records.
  • Timely response to email inquiries.
  • Requesting and entering prior authorization documentation from healthcare providers.
  • Preparing patient charts and obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Consistently demonstrating excellence in customer service, prioritizing appointments, and maintaining organization to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Meeting established performance goals related to key performance indicators, member satisfaction, and attendance.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate new technology systems and applications.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Familiarity with insurance verification, including HMO/PPO plans, CPT codes, and ICD-10 is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and comprehend clinical information, with the ability to explain it to both patients and providers.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with team members and providers to resolve issues clearly.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • Proactive and action-oriented, embracing new opportunities and challenges with enthusiasm.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently with others.
  • Self-aware, utilizing feedback and reflection for personal growth and development.
  • Skilled at finding common ground and solving problems for the benefit of all.
Job Type

Full-time, Monday to Friday, with rotating Saturdays.
