Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Optum in Covina, CA. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment that is guided by diversity and inclusion, while driving towards the Quadruple Aim.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting, including office consults, annual visits, follow-up appointments, and in-office procedures.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and excellent outcomes.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and medical history.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure clear understanding and coordination of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Unrestricted CA Physician License
- Current CA DEA certificate required prior to start date
- BE/BC Family Medicine
- Current BLS, ACLS certification
- EMR Proficient
- Excellent communication skills and time management
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years post-residency experience
- Spanish Speaking Strongly Preferred
