What you will do:
Conduct assigned system commissioning utilizing Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
Respond to basic warranty inquiries. Deliver exceptional service to our clients to address building inefficiencies and resolve service-related concerns.
As a trusted consultant to our clients, you will provide solutions and results during service interactions.

How you will do it:
Load software for system-level controllers.
Perform basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices (e.g., sensors, actuators) and complete all necessary commissioning documentation.
Keep management and JCI contractors or clients updated on job progress and challenges.
Calibrate systems using basic electronic testing equipment.
Complete administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
Document modifications and provide information for as-built documentation.
Communicate with the JCI contractor or client upon arrival and before departing the work site.
Adhere to all safety standards and participate in required safety training.

Maintain a high regard for employee and subcontractor safety.
Offer recommendations and solutions to ensure facilities operate efficiently, including upselling opportunities.
Provide estimates to support recommendations and solutions.

What we look for:
Required

Completion of a Vocational School four-year program or an Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or a related field, along with three years of industry experience or one year of experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC sector.

Generally required knowledge includes HVAC control systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation, and servicing techniques.

Effective interpersonal skills to represent Johnson Controls to clients and other external contacts in an ethical and professional manner.

Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Leadership skills to assist Mechanics working on non-complex, non-critical Building Automation equipment on-site.
PC proficiency is required, along with the ability to program HVAC-related software.
