Job Title: Rail Engineer

AECOM is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Rail Engineer to join its established Rail Engineering Department in Rocky Hill, CT. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that delivers projects for transit clients with a focus on electrification and overhead catenary systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct engineering design independently and/or under the supervision of an experienced engineer
  • Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates for railroad systems projects
  • Collects and analyzes data using computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems
  • Participate in proposal development and other marketing activities
  • Direct engineers-in-training, designers, and technicians
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 4 years civil/rail engineering experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Valid driver's license and pass a Motor Vehicle Records review
