About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing multiple district managers and accounts in an assigned territory, ensuring that our high standards of quality, safety, and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee district managers and accounts to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations.
  • Provide leadership, support, and guidance to ensure staff meets dining services quality standards, inventory levels, food safety guidelines, and customer service expectations.
  • Conduct weekly building tours with district managers to assess work quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate income and expenditures, supplies, food, personnel, and equipment records.
  • Communicate effectively with building district managers, account managers, administrators, and HCSG staff to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by utilizing protective gear, adhering to safety precautions, and addressing equipment and cleaning product needs in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in management or a related field preferred.
  • Extensive relevant work experience (5+ years) with a proven track record of success at the district level.
  • Two years of experience in dining and nutrition services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision required.
  • Specialized training in dining services management and nutrition desirable.
  • Ability to lead, direct, and support a team in a diverse environment with highly developed interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of driving change and teaching and motivating individuals to develop and implement new ways of thinking and doing business.
  • Successful P&L and budgetary management skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a proven track record of growing accounts.
