Job Title: Senior Manager, Annual Fund

Global Fund for Women is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Annual Fund to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive annual giving program. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing a strategic plan to retain, upgrade, and acquire new annual fund donors, resulting in increased revenue and growth for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic annual giving plan, including objectives, timelines, and evaluation metrics.
  • Lead the design and execution of annual fund donor communications and solicitation programs, including direct mail, digital marketing, and stewardship initiatives.
  • Manage a personal portfolio of donors, with a focus on upgrading and retaining existing relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Brand and Culture Team to ensure fundraising content on the website and donate pages is consistent, up-to-date, and optimized for current fundraising campaign goals.
  • Regularly track and analyze performance of the annual giving program, making data-driven decisions to enhance strategy and tactics.
  • Implement procedures to maintain strong donor relations and increase organization and efficiency through the use of Salesforce and other key fundraising tools.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in non-profit fundraising, with at least 5 years in annual fund programs.
  • Tangible experience in expanding and cultivating existing donor relationships over time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex themes for multiple audiences.
  • Ability to influence philanthropy and lead donor education efforts, while bringing in and retaining donors.
  • Proficient in donor database formats, with knowledge of Salesforce a plus.
  • Considerable knowledge of fundraising techniques and sources of funding.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
