Plastics Sales Representative

About the Role
The Account Manager position at Nexeo Plastics is a key role that involves delivering profitable growth in a defined territory by providing solutions to current and prospective customers. This will involve achieving volume, revenue, and margin growth targets by growing Nexeo's share with existing and new customers through the sale of product and service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and increase sales revenue.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to increase sales and customer retention.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales plans.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, chemistry, or business.
- 3-5 years of plastics distribution sales or related industry experience.
- Strong sales and business development skills with a proven track record of success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
