Senior Service Valet Supervisor

As a Senior Service Valet Supervisor, you will collaborate closely with the District Manager to oversee the comprehensive service delivery across the district's residential communities.

This role entails providing guidance and supervision to the part-time staff (Service Valets) within the designated district.

Compensation:
$25.00 per hour

Mileage reimbursement available

Work Schedule:
Wednesday through Sunday

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to our 'every door every night' service commitment and establish a benchmark for resident satisfaction.
Support the District Manager in training and mentoring staff (Service Valets).
Conduct spot checks on staff (Service Valets), emphasizing safety, quality assurance, and efficiency.
Address same-night missed collections, and monitor properties with ongoing issues.
Maintain communication with the District Manager regarding delays, hazardous locations, incidents, and other maintenance concerns.
Provide waste and recycling collection support for properties that are short-staffed within the assigned district.
Document and report any instances of property and resident non-compliance.
Oversee the nightly collection process during the District Manager's days off.
Assist in evening recruitment initiatives, which may involve generating referrals and distributing flyers.
Offer candidates a realistic preview of the role from the perspective of a Service Valet.
Contribute to presentations during team meetings.
Assist the District Manager in coordinating work schedules, assessing job performance, and motivating staff (Service Valets).
Provide leadership in safety and training for the staff (Service Valets).

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent; an Associate's degree is preferred.
Experience in customer service and people management is advantageous.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
A smartphone with a data plan is required.
An open bed pickup truck or trailer may be necessary for transporting waste items (not required in all areas).
Willingness to work a split schedule and/or be on call during irregular hours based on business needs.

Physical Requirements and Employment Conditions:
This position necessitates the ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs, traverse property distances including stairs, bend at the waist and/or knees, and lift arms at or above shoulder level.
Capability to work outdoors and endure varying temperatures.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel locally to other properties as required.
