Job Overview:The primary responsibility is to provide attentive care for luggage services, vehicle parking and retrieval, keys, and prompt, courteous service for all guests throughout their stay. The Valet | Bellperson is expected to ensure enjoyable accommodations and efficient handling of all guest requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Adhere to Moments of Service or Forbes standards during every guest interaction.
- Assist guests with parking their vehicles, which includes issuing a completed claim ticket and parking the vehicle in a designated area. This role requires the ability to operate all standard motor vehicles safely in limited parking spaces.
- Retrieve guests' vehicles promptly.
- Assist guests with luggage from their vehicles to their rooms and ensure proper storage of luggage as per guest requests.
- Deliver messages to guests.
- Recommend various dining establishments, entertainment venues, and shopping centers, including providing directions to popular destinations.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience as a Valet/Bellperson is preferred.
- Exemplary grooming and body language to represent the brand effectively.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Capacity to lift, push, and pull frequently, and remain on feet for the entire shift.
- Must be capable of driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- A valid TX driver's license is required.
- Must be at least 21 years old with an excellent driving record (fewer than 2 moving violations in the last two years) or at least 19 years old with a valid license for at least one year and no moving violations.
- Alcohol training certification (TABC) is necessary.
- Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
