Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at Apogee, A Boldyn Networks Company. As a Network Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and supporting our enterprise Wired and Wireless networks, including Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco DNA Center.

Your responsibilities will include managing Network Access Control (NAC) solutions, supporting Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for access policy enforcement, and providing technical support for end-user devices, printers, VOIP systems, and fiber and copper infrastructure.

You will interact with our customers daily onsite, requiring a professional attitude and appearance. Reporting directly to a regional supervisor, you will be a key player in ensuring smooth network operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Responding to emergency outages promptly
  • Administration: Configure, administer, and document custom policies for Network Access Controls
  • Security guidelines: Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in all incidents
  • Design: Analyze, design, and implement network access control solutions based on industry best practices
  • Support: Provide support for Cisco ISE, Firepower, ASA, Fortinet, and Palo Alto firewall engineering, installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, and management

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • Exceptional Customer Service
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds)
  • Familiarity with Cisco networking technologies (routers, switches, firewalls)
  • Experience in effectively diagnosing and resolving network outages (layers 1-3)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, CWT, CWNA
  • 1-3 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure
