About the Role

We're seeking highly skilled CT Technologists to join our team, who will perform a variety of procedures applying ionizing radiation under the direction of the manager and in-charge technologist. As a CT Technologist, you'll work closely with nursing and physician teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of exams.

Responsibilities
  • Identify patients and procedures accurately, communicating effectively with nursing and physician teams regarding patient needs.
  • Position patients correctly for optimal visibility during CT scans, using scanning protocols and knowledge of anatomy and pathology.
  • Perform warm-up calibrations as needed and maintain competency required for working in the CT department.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to determine appropriate protocols for each exam and utilize correct procedures as directed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as a CT Technologist at Prisma Health, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT certification in CT.
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and registration in CT.
  • CPR certification and South Carolina License (SCRQSA).
  • Excellent customer service skills and basic computer skills, including data entry.
