Computed Tomography Imaging Specialist

MedStar Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. As a leader in the Baltimore-Washington metro region, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment.

About the Role

This position involves performing CT imaging procedures on patients of various types as specified by protocol. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform full range of CT imaging procedures on all patient types as specified by protocol.
  • Ensure timely completion of exams through tracking and scanning.
  • Direct patient flow on assigned scanner and maintain a neat work area.
  • Collaborate with Technical Aides to ensure efficient room turnover.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A completed training in an approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • A.R.R.T. registration.
  • ARRT advanced certification in CT within 1 year.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Prior C.T. experience is preferred.
