Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our inpatient healthcare team at JHHS - Howard CNTY General Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the human body for diagnostic purposes.

About the Role

This is a travel allied health professional opportunity with a 13-week contract. The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the human body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Assist patients during imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong foundation in CT technology, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. This position requires:

  • A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in CT.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
