Key Responsibilities- Manage a large portfolio of donors, building lasting relationships and creating engaging communications and interactions.
- Connect donors to the University and its schools, colleges, departments, and divisions, aligning their philanthropic interests with various priorities across campus.
- Solicit gifts primarily between $250 and $24,999, developing personalized strategies for increasing year-over-year retention and upgrade of donors.
- Partner with colleagues across the Division of Development and Alumni Relations to create engagement opportunities and communicate the impact of philanthropy with donors.
- Conduct virtual meetings, articulating the mission and goals of the University of Georgia while demonstrating enthusiasm and passion.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with 1-3 years of professional experience in fundraising, nonprofit management, higher education, sales, marketing, development, business administration, project management, or relationship management.
- Knowledge of the University of Georgia is desired.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Results-driven performer who is comfortable setting and achieving challenging goals.
- Active collaborator who enjoys working with people and desires to work in a team-based environment.
