Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front Office Supervisor to join our team at the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences and providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise front office employees to ensure efficient and high-quality guest experiences
  • Support team members in handling guest requests and complaints to achieve a positive outcome
  • Communicate with team members to ensure they are fully aware of relevant matters related to guests and other departments
  • Perform bucket checks, income auditing, and monitor room inventories
  • Understand all hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and other product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties and maximize revenue opportunities
  • Monitor guest billing arrangements
  • Knowledge of hotel's fire, health, and safety regulations and act accordingly when needed
  • Assist Front Office Manager and Front Office Assistant Manager
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as needed
  • Build strong relationships and cooperate with other hotel departments
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in a supervisory role, preferably in hotels
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook)
